Description

Report prepared by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in response to Legislative Document 1262, which directed the department to develop a comprehensive statewide strategic plan to serve Maine people with behavioral health needs throughout their lifespans. The plan builds on prior adult and children’s behavioral health planning efforts and outlines current and future activities related to consumer choice, population-specific needs, service delivery, infrastructure, crisis services, community-based care, substance use disorder services, peer and family supports, housing, transportation, workforce development, monitoring, accountability, and financial planning.
