Description
Letter from Stephen Boydon of Robbinston, Maine, enlisted in Company F, 1st Maine Cavalry. He writes to his brother from the Petersburg, Virginia battlefield in which he describes the fierce fighting on June 15 and the loss of several men. The battle was considered a victory for the Confederate forces.
