Description
Colonel Jameson reports to Governor Israel Washburn, Jr. that the men of the 2nd Regiment have departed for Fairfax attached to the division under General Tyler of Connecticut. He reports that the knapsacks are finally of satisfactory quality and that there are several recruits that are unfit for service and will be sent home.
