Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting October 10, 2011 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for October 10, 2011, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of September 19, 2011. Agenda items include: 11 – 160 To hear a report from Public Services Director, Chris Bolduc re: Bulky Waste Pick Up Week. 11 – 161 To hold a Public Hearing to authorize the Town Manager to enter into a labor contract agreement with the Cumberland Police Benevolent Association for the period of July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2014. 11 – 162 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on junkyard/recycler permit renewal for Cumberland Salvage for the period of October 1, 2011 – September 30, 2012. 11 – 163 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on the rezoning of the Drowne Road School property from Rural Residential One (RR1) to Village Mixed Use (VMU) zone, as recommended by the Planning Board. 11 – 164 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a property tax abatement request for property identified as Map R04/Lot 32B. 11 – 165 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and adopt the MMA Model General Assistance Ordinance and Appendixes A-C for the period of October 1, 2011 - October 1, 2012. 11 – 166 To set a workshop and Public Hearing date of October 24th to discuss railroad quiet zones on Muirfield, Longwoods, Greely and Tuttle Roads. 11 – 167 To hear a report from the Town Clerk re: election update.
