Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting July 10, 2006 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for July 10, 2006, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of June 26, 2006. Agenda items include: 06 – 116. To hear a presentation from the Maine Turnpike Authority regarding reconstruction of the Cumberland Service Plaza at mile marker 57 in the Fall 2006. 06 – 117. To hear a report from the Recreation Department. 06 – 118. To hold a public hearing to consider and act on a proposed ordinance to increase the annual compensation for Town Council members from $1,200 to $2,000 and from $1,200 to $2,400 for the Chairman for FY 08. 06 – 119. To hold a public hearing to consider and act on a $2.3 million dollar Tax Anticipation Note. 06 – 120.
