Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting October 26, 1998 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for October 26, 1998, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of September 28, 1998. Agenda items include:

98 - 101. To hold a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, Sec. 205.4 Lot Regulations, which would reduce the lot size for lots created prior to the adoption of the Zoning Ordinance which are in approved subdivisions from 20,000 s.f. to 15,000 s.f. if the lot is connected to the public sewer system.

98 - 106. To set date for a Public Hearing to consider and act on application of Cumberland Salvage, Inc. for an Automobile Graveyard and/or Junkyard Permit.

98 - 107. To set date for a Public Hearing to consider and act on application of Thomas Greenlaw for an Automobile Graveyard and/or Junkyard Permit.

98 - 108. To set a date for a Public Hearing to consider and act on amendments to Sec. 204.6 and Sec. 204.7 of the Zoning Ordinance. The amendments propose adding the use of “boarding kennels” to the Local Business (LB) district, and the Highway Commercial (HC) district along Route 100.

98 - 109. To set a date for a Public Hearing to consider and adopt an Addressing Ordinance. This ordinance is necessary to establish a uniform addressing system required for the start-up of enhanced 911 service (E-911). (This ordinance is considered an emergency, therefore, a public hearing date of November, 9, 1998 is requested.)

98 - 110. To set a date for Public Hearing to consider and adopt an Oil Burning Equipment Ordinance. This is a new ordinance that would require a permit and inspection of the installation of new oil burning systems.
