Description
Simeon Pratt Bill for Services Regarding James Mitchell, July 9, 1861, details expenses owed by the Cumberland Overseers of the Poor to Simeon Pratt for notifying them that James Mitchell, a Cumberland pauper and long-term resident of the Maine Insane Hospital, had run away and been found in Freeport. He was returned to the Maine Insane Hospital in Augusta in the following week, where he remained a patient until at least 1873.
