    Description

    Aldermere Farm, the summer estate of the Chatfield family as it appeared about 1920. Albert Chatfield and his wife Marion, originally from Cincinnati, retired to the estate in the 1950s and established the Scottish breed of hardy beef cattle known as Belted Galloways at the farm that would become a beloved attraction on the tree-lined Russell Avenue winding through Rockport.
