Roscoe Moses Chase was born March 16, 1894, in Sheepscot, Maine and had moved to Malden, Massachusetts before he began his service.
He served the U. S. Marine Corp. during World War I, apart of the 17th (A) Co. 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment Marines. He fought in the Belleau Woods where he was wounded in action on June 10th, 1919.
Upon returning from France he worked as an electrician. Roscoe died August 5, 1978, in Sheepscot, Maine and is remembered here by his daughter, a Maine resident.
