Description
J.M. Kennedy, wounded at Gettysburg, writes Governor Coburn from the US General Hospital in Pennsylvania requesting a transfer to a hospital in Maine or New York. He also conveys the praise from a wounded Lieutenant Colonel of the 47th Alabama regarding the 20th Maine's conduct at Gettysburg.
