One of the many signs that still stand in Castine, Maine; Text of the sign reads : ```Windmill Hill' On Hatch's Hill there stands a MILL/ OLD HIGGINS he doth tend it/ And every time he grinds a grist/ He has to stop to mend it.'' The siggn also notes that two British soldiers were shot on the site in 1815 for desertion.
