Description
Record book of L.B. Smith, appointed surveyor for the town of Canton, Maine in May 1887. Warrant signed by selectmen describe his area of jurisdiction as follows: "beginning on road west of the easterly bridge over Bisbee brook so called in town road called the Bisbee road thence west to Peru line also beginning at the northerly line of the Martin Ellis farm so called thence westerly in thence to the first named road.
