Description
Historical account of the introduction and early development of television in the Saint Croix Valley, especially the Calais, Maine, area. The work discusses the arrival of television broadcasts from Bangor and St. John, the growth of local stations, early television dealers and service businesses, antenna technology, reception challenges in Washington County, and the later development of cable television in the region.
