Description
A shipping receipt from the Brooksville Schooner "Anna Gardner." The Anna Gardner was sailing from Brooksville to Norfolk, Virginia, to a Navy Yard, on April 4, 1859, with a cargo of granite. Plain paper, printed form with logo of M. Hale, Main St., Ellsworth, Maine, and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Anna Gardner, April 4, 1859, to Peters and Reed".
