Description
A shipping receipt from the Brooksville, Maine schooner "Amanda Powers." The Amanda Powers was sailing from Brooksville to Staten Island, N.Y., on September 30, 1863, with a cargo of granite. Plain paper, printed form with logo of A. R. Gay & Co., 130 State St., Boston. and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Sch. Amanda Powers, to New York, Sept 30 1863."
