Description
A shipping receipt from the Brooksville, Maine schooner "Amanda Powers." The Amanda Powers was sailing from Brooksville to Harlem River, N.Y. on June 7, 1861 with a cargo of granite. Gray paper, printed form with logo of B.B. Mussey & Co., Nos. 25 & 29, Cornhill, Boston, and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Sch Amanda Powers, to T.M. River, June 1861."
