Description
A typewritten transcription of an extract from the Ellsworth American, petitioning for the incorporation of Bluehill Academy, later George Stevens Academy, in Blue Hill, Maine, and an additional transcription from an April 21 1802 edition of the American. Assuming the date at the top of the page, January 1 1885, is a mis-print, as the later segment, cited as 1802, clearly comes after it.
