Description
Shipping receipt from the ship Grace Ross, sailing from Belfast to New Orleans. The printed form with logo of Sanborn & Carter, 55 Exchange, st. Portland and handwritten details in margin “4108 blocks 700 [illegible] yard 350 ½ ton more or less”. On the backside there is handwritten stating “Bill of Lading, Ship Grace Ross Paving Nov 21, 1859”
