Description
Press release and presentation materials from a comprehensive master plan for development of the Maine State House complex. The proposal calls for two new low-profile general office structures on Capitol Park, and an "enclave of historical buildings" to be located at the far eastern end of the park. The plan shows a proposed arterial highway that would run from State Street, across Sewall Street, that would eventually connect to Capitol Street. Also of note is a reference to a planned convention center at the corner of Gage Street and Route 201.
