Clyde Sukeforth, From Washington, Maine Was A Professional Baseball Player, Coach And Briefly A Manager Yet His Biggest Play Took Place Well Away From The Field Brooklyn Dodger Owner Branch Rickey Entrusted Sukeforth To Meet Jackie Robinson Sign Him To A Contract And Bring Him To The Dodgers In 1947 Breaking The Color Barrier In Major League Baseball.
