Description
Randomized points along roads throughout the state. Points were selected using a GRTS method with 5 points per selected block with three blocks selected per quad. If a block lacked enough roads to select points more than 300m apart, then a different block was used within the same quad. A 10 minute point count occurred at each location with the minute of detection and distance to animal recorded for each observation.
There are two components to the database: effort data describing when sites were surveyed and the condition under which that occurred and the observation data which describe the species detected and details of their detection. These files are on different tabs of the final Excel file.
