This GeoTIFF raster depicts modeled density for Double-crested Cormorant from the Maine Bird Atlas 2. The estimates were generated using a Bayesian hierarchical density model that accounts for perceptibility and availability biases in the observation process and incorporates spatial structure and environmental covariates. The raster has a 1,000-meter resolution and is projected in NAD83 / UTM Zone 19.
