Description
Shipping receipt for the schooner GM Partridge, sailing from Baltimore, Maryland to Blue Hill with corn bread. The Printed form with logo Sold by J. N. Lewis, 90 Lombard Street and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Sch GM Partridge Corn & Flour Dec 10 1862” Handwritten in the Marks column “100 barrels extra flour 274 1/2 bags of corn 400 boxes bread”
