Description
Letter from Edward to his sister Rosie, written from Beaufort, South Carolina in January 1863. Writes about missing the winters in Hope, Maine and hearing of the death of Oscar Fletcher while True was out on picket.
"It has been two years since I have seen snow so that I have almost forgotten what is going in the winter season."
