This map, referred to in correspondence between Mr. John D. Rockefeller Jr. and the Secretary of the Interior under dates of Mar. 14 & 25, July 25, Oct. 1 1935 forms a part of the agreement between Mr. Rockefeller and the Secretary of the Interior in regard to the road program and land transfer program in Acadia National Park. Due to its scale, this map is illustrative of the general program and does not control the details that will be shown on Road Project Plans and land deed maps that follow in road construction and land transfer programs.
