Description
Entries include brief biographical information, a handwritten letter on plain paper with some biographical information, a typed letter with an account of a poem written by Witham and published on his birthday and publication in an issue of Bozart and Contemporary Verse of Oglethorpe University in Georgia, a newspaper clipping from Art Arthur's column in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle featuring Witham's poem " To Marie Dressler," typed receipt from the Maine State Library of newspaper clippings, magazines, and an item called "Mardelia Dee" (missing), and several newspaper clippings sent by Witham for the Maine Author collection files: "A Saga of Starvation," an essay concerning what was then called the "Greely Arctic Expedition," a poem "The Laughing President," and a letter to the editor.
