Entries include brief biographical information, typed letters from Williams in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, with research questions on the history of the town of Union, Maine, a typed letter from the Maine State Library on receipt of Come Spring for the Maine Author Collection, typed and handwritten correspondence -- some on Maine State Library, Augusta, stationery concerning his book sent as a prize for a contest held by the Maine Library Association at an annual convention, research questions concerning people living in Maine with the same name as a character from his recent book, correspondence on illustrated print postcards addressed as HARDSCRABBLE · SEARSMONT · MAINE · concerning his novel The Strange Woman, an illustrated publisher tear sheet advertisement from Wings, a publication of The Literary Guild of America, Inc., for Leave Her to Heaven with a biography and an illustrated portrait image of Williams, a handwritten letter on HARDSCRABBLE, SEARSMONT, MAINE, stationery, and a typed letter on receipt of Fraternity Village for the Maine Author Collection.
