ntries include a print publisher advertisement for Trott's book of poetry with a brief biographical sketch of the founder of Poetry Day in Maine, her print photographic portrait image and an order form, typed letters from publication chairman J.A. White on The Maine Poetry Day Association, Yarmouth, Maine, stationery presenting a copy of The American Friend?(missing) with two poems by Trott and notice of "To a New House at Christmas" to be published in Good Housekeeping and "The Blue Fire of April" to be published in the Ladies' Home Journal, a typed letter of invitation for Trott from the Maine State Library concerning the Maine Author Collection, a copy of the Pen Woman's Year a seasonal collection of Maine poetry including Trott's poem "Summer Solstice," a typed letter of book gift presentation from Trott in memory of her mother the poet Beatrice Wright Clifford, and typed correspondence from Trott concerning the passage by the 98th legislature of a bill establishing Maine Poetry Week on Rosemary Clifford Trott, Maine State Chairman for Poetry Week, Freeport, Maine, stationery, and the typed transcript of reply from the Maine State Library during a 1958 renovation, that it would more likely be possible to arrange a display for Maine Poetry Week in the coming year.
