Abstract
Entries include brief biographical information, a typed biography concerning White's political ancestors as well as ironmaster of Taunton, Massachusetts, James Leonard, White's volunteer activity in Naples, Maine, and development in the Great Lakes region during the Spanish American War, a questionable early example of White's poetry before the start of his career in publishing, a handwritten letter presenting his book of poetry on plain paper, a typed letter from the Maine State Library on receipt of Poems Primal for the Maine Author Collection, a typed letter of reply on plain paper from White, and a newspaper clipping with White's portrait photographic image and a caption concerning sales of his books and the prospect of motion picture film production.
