Entries include brief biographical information presented with Tolman's newspaper obituary clipping describing the mourning of Bowdoin College's oldest graduate at this time and typed correspondence on personal stationery from Tolman in 1929, presenting his Jim Spurling books for youth sent to the state librarian with his brother-in-law.
