Description
Based on a study of 282 inmates at the Maine State Prison in February 1943. The survey does not include 54 inmates that were serving life sentences. Questions touched on the following topics: education, religion, marital status, first delinquency, place of birth, occupation, social diseases and composition of the household they were raised.
