Abstract
Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting January 25, 2016 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for January 25, 2016, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of January 11, 2016. Agenda items include: 16 – 005 To reconsider item 15-179: To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a request from the Moonlite Sno-Skimmers Snowmobile Club to allow access to the trails in the Town Forest for snowmobiling. 16 – 006 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on a reduction to the Pleasant Valley Road right-of- way between house #37 to #59 inclusive, as recommended by the Town Manager. 16 – 007 To authorize expending up to $36,000 from the Broad Cove Reserve Fund for the design, construction and installation of two floats at the Broad Cove Reserve as recommended by the Coastal Waters Commission. 16 – 008 To consider and act on authorizing the Town Manager to execute a Purchase and Sale agreement with Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NELMA) for $250,000 for the purchase of 10 acres of land. 16 – 009 To set a Public Hearing date of February 22nd to consider and act on authorizing engineering work and bonding of up to $3.2 million dollars for the Middle Road reconstruction and waterline project. 16 – 010 To consider and act on sending to the Planning Board for a Public Hearing and recommendation, a zone change request in the VCC Zone to allow multiplexes. 16 – 011 To consider and act on sending to the Planning Board for a Public Hearing and recommendation, a zone change request in the OC-South to allow multiplexes, density & building height. 16 – 012 To consider and act on sending to the Planning Board for a Public Hearing and recommendation, amendments to the Contract Zone Agreement for Cumberland Foreside Village.
