Abstract
Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting October 8, 2012 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for October 8, 2012, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of September 24, 2012. Agenda items include: 12 - 169 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on junkyard/recycler permit renewal for Cumberland Salvage. 12 - 170 To hold a Public Hearing to consider and act on draft zoning amendments to the Official Cumberland Zoning Map to change Tax Assessor Map R07 Lots 44, 45, 45A and 45B from the Industrial District (I) to the Rural Residential District 2 (RR2), as recommended by the Planning Board. 12 - 171 To consider and act on authorizing the Town Manager to enter into an agreement with the Cumberland/North Yarmouth Foot Ball Boosters for construction of a storage shed at the West Cumberland Athletic Field. 12 - 172 To hear an update from the Town Manager re: new ordinance language for the Aquifer Protection Zones. 12 - 173 To set a Public Hearing date (October 22nd) to consider and act on repealing and replacing Chapter 235 (Solid Waste) of the Cumberland Code.
