A photograph of Ferry boat "Alice Howard" at Badger's Island. Ferry service closed in 1923. Memorial Bridge, between ME and NH, opened in 1925. Boston and Maine Bus provided services between Portsmouth and Kittery (Badger's Island) via Dover.
