Photo 6: Folded layers in hornblende-rich gneiss of the amphibolite member of the Cushing Formation (Oca). These folds formed during relatively high-temperature compressional deformation. Shoreline exposure approximately 1000 feet north of Indian Island near Flying Point Neck.
