Description

Hunting Maine is a pamphlet created by the Maine Development Commission in 1934. It contains information on the open seasons for Maine's wildlife as well as locations of Maine's bodies of water and Maine's "Wild Lands" (unorganized territories), which are denoted by gray coloring on the map. This helps non-residents see where they will need to hire a guide if they want to hunt in those areas.

The pamphlet folded is 9" H x 4" W and can open up into a 16" H x 27" W map of Maine.
