Report from Colonel Moses Lakeman to Adjutant General John Hodsdon regarding the movements and engagements of the 3rd Maine Regiment, including descriptions of encampments, battles, and casualties. At the time of the report, the regiment had participated in the following battles: Bull Run / Manassas, Bailey's Crossroads, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Seven Pines, Fair Oaks, Fair Oaks Swamp, Charles City Crossroads, Malvern Hill, Glendale, Chantilly, Monocacy, and Fredericksburg.
