30th Maine Regiment

 

The 30th Maine Regiment was mustered in for three years' service on January 11, 1864 and were mustered out on August 20, 1865. Of the men enrolled in the regiment, 34 were killed or died of wounds, and 256 died of disease.

They served in the following engagements:

  • Sabine Cross Roads, LA - April 8, 1864
  • Pleasant Hill, LA - April 9, 1864
  • Cane River Crossing, LA - April 23, 1864
