Abstract
Town of Cumberland Town Council Meeting July 14, 2003 is the complete packet for the Cumberland Town Council meeting for July 14, 2003, and includes the minutes of the Town Council meeting of June 16, 2003. Agenda items include: 03 - 065. To authorize the purchase of approximately 225 acres located northeasterly of the Range Road, also known as Turkey Lane, and owned by Mr. Dale Rines, for a total cost not to exceed $1,295,000. 03 - 066. To set interest rate to be charged on delinquent 03/04 sewer fees and real and personal property taxes. 03 - 067. To authorize application of real estate tax payments to the oldest unpaid tax. 03 - 068. To set rate at which interest will be paid on overpayment of real estate taxes. 03 - 069. To authorize Town Manager to accept payment of foreclosed real estate taxes and issue a quitclaim deed for property designated as Map R07, Lot 41A. 03 - 070. To set tax rate at $18.03 for FY 2003/04. 03 - 071. To set date for public hearing to consider and act on a Mass Gathering Permit for the United Maine Craftsmen, Inc. to hold the 34th Annual Cumberland Craft Show, Cumberland Fairgrounds, August 7 — 10, 2003. 03 - 072. To authorize the Town Manager to require the repair of a failed septic system located at 39 Old Gray Road, and to secure said repair through a note and mortgage on said property.
