Description
Records of We Neighbors Club Cumberland, Maine 1895–1995 is a history of the We Neighbors Club. Founded in 1895 and continuing until 1995, the society experienced a rich and robust life. The book contains annotated transcriptions of the Secretary’s Notes of the organization for the period 1905–1995 (with the exception of the years 1929–31 and 1949–50). The intention is to help explore the workings of a rural community’s societal club and its impact on the community as a whole.
