Description
A shipping receipt from the Brooksville, Maine schooner "Amanda Powers." The Amanda Powers was sailing from New York to Blue Hill, Maine, on July 9, 1861, with a cargo of flour and corn. Blue paper, printed form with logo of C. W. Bleecker, Stationer, Nos. 16 & 18 William St., New York. Details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Received freight as per the written bill of lading" dated July 20, 1861. signed by James Robinson.
