The Maine State Library holds a collection of personal papers of Moses Greenleaf best known as one of Maine's earliest cartographers. Many of the items appear to be drafts: there are multiple sections crossed out or have insertions. Others are on fragments of paper rather than whole sheets. Topics covered in the documents include land sales, statewide apportionment, and official documents from Greenleaf's time as a Justice of the Peace. In addition to these documents the State Library also holds an extensive collection of Greenleaf maps.
