Abstract
Entries include brief, spaced, biographical information with some facts distributed on the reverse of the page, a typed letter of introduction from the Maine State Library to architect Charles Danville White concerning the Maine Author Collection, a handwritten letter of book presentation written on White's personal stationery, a typed letter from the Maine State Library on receipt of White's book Camps and Cottages for the Maine Author Collection, a typed letter requesting biographical information from White, correspondence on receipt of his book Handbook of Sailing, and a typed letter of thanks for biographical information sent by White, though it is unlikely that this refers to the few facts presented at the beginning of the file.
