Description
Order book of Jonathan Frye, stationed at Camp Morristown in New Jersey during the Revolutionary War.
Handwritten book includes a fragment of a family register 1766-1786, notes about promotions, court martials, marching orders, medical supply, discovery of Benedict Arnold's treason (09-26-1780), trial and execution of John Andre, trial for possession of counterfeit money, statements by George Washington, and other events.
