Description
Hope Dillaway (1910-2004), created her Locating the Old Houses of Cumberland, Maine, from the 1857 Map of Cumberland County and the 1871 Atlas of Cumberland County, which include names of residents and businesses and inset maps of villages for Cumberland. Dillaway’s index lists homeowners and businesses by street for both 1857 and 1871, and is presented by street and alphabetically for both years.
