A handwritten note from an instructor at Blue Hill Academy, now George Stevens Academy, in Blue Hill, Maine, certifying that a student, Augustine W. Clough, had excelled in spelling for the week. Written on a scrap paper with some scratch addition work on the back.n Dated November 20, 1841.
